Indicative ranges
These are starting prices excluding VAT, and the final amount depends on complexity. The hourly rate starts from €35.
- Simple app (iOS and Android from one codebase, a few screens): from €1,800.
- App with accounts (sign-in, payments, notifications, administration): from €4,500.
- Complex app (offline mode, camera, location, integrations, AI): from €9,000.
What affects the price most
- The number of screens and features: every extra feature means extra work and testing.
- User accounts and sign-in: they need a server and a database.
- Payments, notifications and integrations with other systems.
- Design: a ready design is cheaper than one made from scratch.
- Offline mode, camera, location and other device requirements.
One app for both platforms
Building with React Native and Expo gives one app for iOS and Android, which is usually much cheaper than two separate builds. Native development only makes sense for exceptionally demanding cases.
Costs people forget
- Developer accounts: Apple about €99 a year, Google €25 once.
- A server and database if the app has users.
- Maintenance: new versions of iOS and Android come out every year.
- Store review time and possible fixes after a rejection.
How to save without risk
- Start with a first version (MVP) and add features based on real use.
- Prepare a list of screens and features before the first call.
- Ask what is included and what is not, including store release.
- Choose a developer where you talk to the person who builds.
How we do it
Before work begins you get a free scope estimate and a price range. We work in short cycles with releases you can try, and the source code and store accounts belong to you.
